: In 1900 my great-grand parents lived at 90 Keenon. This street no longer exists. Who could tell me where this was?
Keenon Street in Chicago is now Pierce Ave. It runs west for two blocks from Ashland Avenue and it is located one or two blocks south of North Ave. My Father was born at 32 Keenon Street in 1908. It appears that the street numbers and names changed sometime between 1910 and 1920. I just visited the area last fall, it is really very nice. The house that my Father was born in was build in 1889 and it is still there.
Your great grandparents lived only a few houses from my other grandparents, they were at 83 Keenon Street. That house is still there also
