Chicago History Forum: 1930s crime
Posted by: Nea (NEAWOOD@ThisIsToPreventSpam-214-RemoveThis.aol.com) on 7 Mar 2003 at 11:25:52 PM I'm looking for information about a murder that took place in Chicago in the summer of 1936, I believe. (I may be one year off, but I do believe it was 1936.) It was a woman named Mrs. Drummond. She had six kids, and they were very poor. She killed her husband. It made the newspapers at the time. If anyone has info, or knows how I might go about getting copies of the old newspaper clippings, I'd appreciate it!
